Second Installment of Orphan Sponsorship Program Delivered to 20 Beneficiaries

Salé – As part of solidarity initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable groups at the start of this month and the beginning of the new academic year, the Basma Foundation for Social Development, in partnership with the Al-Mansour Association for Orphan Care in Salé, delivered the second installment of the Orphan Sponsorship Program to 20 orphans.

This step completes the commitments of the 6-month sponsorship program. This second and final installment covers the remaining three months of financial support allocated to the beneficiaries, following the previous distribution of the first 3-month installment, aiming to secure the essential and educational needs of the sponsored children.

Continuity of Efforts to Support Academic Excellence

This initiative comes as an extension of a series of joint programs between the Foundation and the Al-Mansour Association. The Basma Foundation for Social Development and its partners, in the presence of the Foundation’s Vice President, Mr. Adnane El Ayadi, previously supervised the distribution of academic excellence grants to 20 top-performing primary school students at the end of the previous school year. This took place during the 10th edition of the sponsored students’ ceremony, held under the theme “Renewed Success and Unstoppable Ambition.”

Sustainable Social and Developmental Impact

This partnership between civil society actors centers on achieving key solidarity and educational goals:

  • Financial and Moral Support: Assisting youth and high-achieving orphans to pave the way toward a confident academic and professional future.
  • Promoting Equal Opportunities: Reinforcing social solidarity values, empowering promising youth, and removing obstacles to their success.
  • Activating Civil Partnerships: Unifying efforts between institutional and civil society organizations to create a tangible, sustainable social impact.

At the conclusion of the initiative, the Basma Foundation renewed its congratulations to all beneficiary students and their families, expressing its gratitude to the Al-Mansour Association for Orphan Care in Salé, as well as to all partners and donors who contributed to the success of this educational and solidarity effort.
