In a major step toward empowering civil society organizations and amplifyingtheir community impact, the Basma Foundation for Social Development has officially signed the support charter for “Track 1” of the Bunyan program. Implemented by the Moroccan Center for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (MCISE), the program is co-funded by the European Union.
This signing follows the selection of the Basma Foundation for Social Development last August as part of a cohort of 15 civil society organizationschosen across the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region.
What Is the “Bunyan” Program, and What Are Its Goals?

Track 1: “Foundational & Structural Development” (3 Months)

At the conclusion of Track 1, the Basma Foundation for Social Developmentwill present its strategy to a specialized funding committee to qualify for Track 2. The second track, lasting 9 months, combines direct financial grants withadvanced guidance to ensure long-term financial and operational sustainability.
