Irtiqaa Program: Round Table Unites Basma Foundation and Student Clubs from Moroccan Universities

Successful round table today with student clubs from across Morocco, led by Basma Social Development Foundation’s Irtiqaa Program! Great discussions on enhancing communication and exploring joint action. Exciting recommendations for future collaboration were developed.

Bringing together student clubs from higher education institutions across Morocco, the event centered on the theme: ‘Enhancing communication with student clubs in Moroccan universities and exploring prospects for joint action.’

The meeting program included opening and introductory remarks by Mr. Adil Tantane, Director of Basma Social Development Foundation, and Mr. Adnan El Ayadi, member of Basma Foundation’s Executive Office in charge of Projects.

The round table also included a presentation of the Foundation’s programs, an introduction to the ‘Inmaa’ initiative, and concise presentations highlighting the experiences of various student club initiatives. A dynamic and constructive interactive session followed, providing space to explore practical ways of strengthening collaboration.

The meeting concluded with a fruitful open discussion which led to the formulation of targeted recommendations for building the future of joint work.

Among the key recommendations were: building a cumulative and shared working model for student clubs, creating and maintaining a repository of fundable projects, investing student expertise into impactful social initiatives, systematically integrating student clubs into the Foundation’s programs, and developing digital tools to enhance coordination and networking.

These recommendations reaffirm the vital role of partnership and collective action in advancing social development and fostering volunteerism and civic engagement within the student community.

We look forward to turning these recommendations into action and building on this meaningful collaboration to benefit our students and society as a whole.
